Well hello, friend!

My name is Maeko Bradshaw and I am the creator behind all things Flaminkko Designs. I’m based in South Lake Tahoe, CA and when I’m not exploring the great outdoors with my three favorite pups, I love creating custom art for your wedding, home, or any special occasion.

I was lucky enough to grow up and be surrounded by the inspiration of the Tahoe forests. My love of art has been fostered from an early age (thanks mom!) During grad school I discovered modern calligraphy and it became a hobby that I wanted to do all the time. After a series of jobs that weren’t satisfying my creative needs, a close friend told me I should be sharing my passion and that I had the foundations to go into business for myself. And thus Flaminkko Designs was born. I’m grateful to be able to do what I love in the place I love the most.

This is my late godmother KK. She “lived life large” and loved pink flamingos. The double “k” in Flaminkko is for her.

She’s the inspiration behind it all and the reason I put my heart and soul into every piece of art I create.
